A Bean Held by a Lock

The shape is simple. A smooth white stone, rounded like a bean, with one small red point of light at its base. Above it, a ruyi lock in silver. The chain is fine enough to disappear at the collarbone.

Worn alone, it stays quiet. Worn with a second chain, it holds its own line.

Materials

The stone is natural chalcedony. The metal is solid 925 sterling silver. The red accents are cubic zirconia, chosen for a clear, even color rather than rarity.

Two finishes are available. Silver keeps the stone cool. Gold warms it.

Keep it dry. Store it apart from harder stones. Sterling silver darkens slowly with air and wear; a soft dry cloth brings back its surface.
